Stephen Curry Scores 26 Points In Monday's Win
5 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry scored a team-high 26 points on Monday against the New Orleans Pelicans, helping the team get their first win of the season. The former league MVP also had 11 assists to record his first double-double of the year. Curry shot 9-for-17 from the field and 4-for-10 from downtown. He was productive at the other end as well, finishing with three steals. The Warriors now start a four-game homestand, which should help Curry build up momentum. He's so far shot only 26.7 percent from deep, which has limited his scoring average to 24 points per game.
