Stephen Curry Notches 18 Points Before Exiting With Injury
4 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry had 18 points on 7-for-18 shooting in Wednesday's victory over Houston before sitting out the entire fourth quarter due to a bruised tailbone. He got hurt when had an awkward fall at the end of the third after missing one of his 11 attempts from deep. Curry finished 2-for-11 from deep, so it wasn't a great performance by him, but he did add eight assists, five rebounds, and one steal in 30 minutes of action. Head coach Steve Kerr said after the game that he had no idea if Curry is going to play on Friday against Memphis. His absence will open up more minutes to the likes of Jordan Poole, who had a career-high six treys on Wednesday and led the team with 23 points off the bench.
