Stephen Curry Explodes For Career-High 62 Points
4 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry put on a phenomenal show on Sunday against Portland, shooting 18-for-31 from the field and 8-for-16 from behind the arc en route to a career-high 62 points. He added 18 points from the free-throw line and notched five rebounds and four assists with five turnovers. Curry's previous career best was 54 points, which he managed eight years ago against the Knicks. Curry posted a 21-point first quarter and he had his tenth career 30-plus point half. The two-time MVP upped his season average to 32.3 points per game, and he should be throwing flames again on Monday against a Sacramento team that likes to run and push the pace.
