Stephen Curry Drops 36 Points With Seven Threes
4 years agoGolden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry scored 36 points with seven triples, six assists, two rebounds, and just one turnover in a 129-98 blowout win over the Cavaliers. After a 2 of 9 performance from beyond the arc in his last game, Curry heated right back up on Monday night to the tune of 7-for-11 shooting from deep, pouring in 36 points in just three quarters. The two-time MVP is in the midst of an incredible stretch- he became the first guard since Michael Jordan in 1995-96 to score at least 25 points while shooting at least 50 percent from the field in nine straight games. Curry has a great chance to stay hot on Wednesday against the Heat, who have allowed 15.1 made three-pointers per game to opposing teams, the second-most in the league.
