Stephan Jaeger Aims For Consistency At Mexican Open
1 day agoStephan Jaeger's results have varied to start the season, ranging from a T3 at the Sony Open to missing the cut at the Farmers Insurance Open. He now looks ahead to the Mexican Open, where he has recorded strong results with finishes of T15, T18, and most recently a T3 in 2024. At 7,456 yards, Vidanta Vallarta is a course that requires length off the tee and strong long-iron play. Jaeger is long enough off the tee, averaging 304.1 yards per drive, and ranks in the 84th percentile in greens in regulation from 200-plus yards, a distance that accounted for 43.3% of all approach shots at this event last year. While Jaeger isn't in his best form, competing against a weaker field should allow the talented German to find more consistency. Fantasy managers should consider playing him at his $9,600 price tag on DraftKings.
