Steelers Plan To Use Running-Back-By-Committee
6 years agoPittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said it's the team's "intention" to use a running-back-by-committee approach with James Conner (ankle) possibly out multiple weeks with what could be a high ankle sprain. That could very well be the case, but we would expect rookie Jaylen Samuels to see most of the work alongside Stevan Ridley and Trey Edmunds moving forward. Samuels had a 10-yard touchdown catch late in the Sunday night loss and has RB2 upside against Oakland this weekend. He'll be a hot commodity off the waiver wire as the fantasy playoffs begin.
