Steelers Place Tender On Dwayne Haskins
3 years agoThe Pittsburgh Steelers are using an original-round tender on restricted free-agent quarterback Dwayne Haskins, according to a source. Haskins will make $2.54 million on the tender this season. The Steelers were always expected to bring Haskins back, especially after Ben Roethlisberger retired. Pittsburgh picked Haskins up after he was released by the Washington Commanders, but he didn't play at all in 2021. The former first-round pick are looking at all options at the position heading into next season, but as of right now, Haskins and Mason Rudolph are projected to compete for the starting job in training camp. Even if the 24-year-old wins the job over Rudolph, he won't be a very attractive fantasy option, even in two-QB leagues.
