1 year agoStarting pitcher Shoto Imanaga of the Nippon Professional Baseball League will be posted on Monday, according to MLB insider Jon Heyman. It's worth noting that Heyman said the 30-year-old pitcher would technically be posted after Monday but the formal announcement will occur on that day. Once he is posted, he will have a 45-day window to negotiate and ink a deal with a major league baseball club. The left-handed Imanaga was with the Yokohama DeNA Baystars last season and posted a 2.66 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and 188:24 K/BB ratio over 159 innings (24 starts). He should have a number of teams bidding for his services given his stellar numbers last year and solid track record in the NPB.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
