Start Brandin Cooks As A WR3/Flex In Week 7
4 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Brandin Cooks has flourished ever since the firing of Bill O'Brien. Over his last two games, he has 17 catches for 229 yards and two touchdowns on 21 targets. Will Fuller V should still be considered the Texans No. 1 receiver for now, but Cooks is looking more like a 1B than a true No. 2 right now. He has out-targeted Fuller over the past two games as Fuller has 19 total targets over the past two weeks. In Week 7, the Texans face the Green Bay Packers in what should be a high-scoring game, giving Cooks plenty of opportunities to make plays. Start him as a WR3 or flex option this week.
