4 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Starling Marte was forced to leave Sunday's game in the middle of his at bat in the ninth inning. It's unclear for now what happened to the talented outfielder, although it appeared he was favoring his hip or his oblique area as he was pinch hit for with a 1-1 count. The Marlins have Monday off, so if Marte does indeed require a stint on the injured list, it may not be made official until some point on Tuesday. No real clarity was gained from any post-game interviews, so for now, fantasy managers should be ready to be without Marte for a while, but could also see him right back in the lineup on Tuesday.
