4 years agoDropping a unanimous decision on Saturday's main card, Spike Carlyle moved to 1-2 inside the Octagon. Carlyle was greatly out-struck by his opponent, Bill Algeo, only landing 23 significant strikes (28 total strikes) compared to Algeo's 70 significant strikes (118 total strikes). For the first time in his professional career, Carlyle has dropped two bouts in a row. The majority of Carlyle's professional victories have come in the first round, and he will need to show fight fans as well as fantasy fans that he can endure a full bout before he's relevant in the fantasy world.--Matt Bricker
