Spencer Jones Heating Up In June
5 months agoNew York Yankees outfield prospect Spencer Jones is bouncing back from a disappointing May where he went 17-for-100. Through 15 games in June, he's 18-for-61 with three doubles, three home runs, and a 6:21 BB/SO ratio, collecting at least one hit in all but two games. Overall, his season totals have gradually improved this month. At the end of May, he was slashing just .220/.314/.327. Now, his slash line through 53 games is up to .242/.328/.384. Jones, the Yankees' No. 2 prospect (per MLB.com), is expected to make his MLB debut in 2025.
