1 year agoNew York Yankees prospect Spencer Jones shined with a pair of singles in his debut for Double-A Somerset. His promotion was announced earlier in the day, and the 22-year-old wasted no time making a good impression. Jones ranks as the top prospect in the Yankees farm system and the No. 78 prospect in baseball, per MLB Pipeline. He posted a .268/.337/.450 slash line with 13 home runs and 35 stolen bases across 100 games in High-A this season. The 2022 first-round draft pick is likely still a year or two of development away from an MLB debut, but Jones will be an interesting name for fantasy managers to track.--Kevin Hickey - RotoBaller
