Spencer Dinwiddie Scores Game-High 36 Points Against Minnesota
5 years agoBrooklyn Nets point guard Spencer Dinwiddie managed another 30-point outing in Monday's overtime loss to Minnesota, finishing the game with 36 points on 12-for-31 shooting. He went 3-for-9 from deep and added eight assists with five rebounds and one steal. Dinwiddie has scored 20-plus points in 18 of the 21 games since Kyrie Irving (shoulder) got injured. Irving isn't expected to return for Thursday's clash with the Mavs either, so Dinwiddie should be set for another big performance. He averaged 27 points, 6.8 assists, and 3.8 rebounds in December, and his scoring performance across the past six games is even more impressive as he's averaged 31.5 points a night.
