Spencer Dinwiddie Leads Washington With Bradley Beal Out
3 years agoWashington Wizards point guard Spencer Dinwiddie ran things on Thursday against the Knicks, finishing a 124-117 win with 21 points, seven rebounds and 12 assists. He shot 7-for-14 from the field with a 3-for-7 record from downtown and provided one steal and one block on the defensive end. Bradley Beal (health and safety protocols) found himself sidelined for this matchup and Dinwiddie took full advantage of it. He's been pretty miserable throughout December but is now trying to finish strongly. The schedule looks pretty nasty for Dinwiddie, though, with games against Philadelphia, Miami and Cleveland coming up. These three teams have done a very good job defensively against point guards this season.
