Spencer Dinwiddie Leads Washington In Scoring
3 years agoWashington Wizards point guard Spencer Dinwiddie scored a team-high 23 points and added 11 rebounds with six assists in Saturday's road win over Orlando. He shot 10-for-18 from the field and 3-for-9 from behind the arc in 31 minutes of action with one block on the defensive end and three turnovers. The Wizards were without Bradley Beal (personal) here and it was a good opportunity for Dinwiddie to play more as a scorer. He now sits on back-to-back double-doubles ahead of a pair of very favorable matchups. Washington faces the league's least-efficient defense in a matchup against New Orleans and a meeting with Charlotte will be a huge pace-up spot for the team.
