Sony Michel To Retire
1 year agoLos Angeles Rams running back Sony Michel informed head coach Sean McVay that he is retiring. Michel, taken in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft, has appeared in 65 games for the Patriots, Rams, and Chargers, totaling 3,243 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns. However, he saw most of his trips to the end zone occur in his first two seasons. The 28-year-old will end his career as a two-time Super Bowl champion. But Michel's retirement means even less competition for Cam Akers, who has a lock on the No. 1 spot atop the depth chart.
