Sonny Gray Picks Up First Win Of Season
4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray threw six shutout innings in a 3-0 win over the Washington Nationals on Thursday to earn his first win of the season. Gray allowed just two hits, struck out five, and walked one in the win. The win improves Gray's record to 1-3, to go along with a 3.40 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 52 strikeouts in 42 1/3 innings of work. He has been a dependable fantasy pitcher this season, having allowed more than three runs just once in his eight starts. Gray will look to continue his success in his next start, which will come against the Philadelphia Phillies.
