Sonny Gray Bounces Back In Baltimore
6 years agoStill wildly inconsistent, New York Yankees starter Sonny Gray put forth one of his best starts of the season on Friday night in Baltimore, picking up his fourth victory to match his total losses. The 28-year-old, who was taking on the Orioles, went six strong, surrendering only one run on four hits, with a first-inning home run being the major damage. Gray also struck out six innings, working with his preferred catcher, Austin Romine. This was a particularly pleasing performance considering it came on the heels of his disastrous home start against the Los Angeles Angels. He will look to build on this start when he takes on the Toronto Blue Jays this upcoming Wednesday.
