Sonny Gray At Supreme Confidence Heading Into Season
7 years agoAfter his fourth and final spring training outing, New York Yankees starting pitcher Sonny Gray expressed his confidence, stating it was the best he’s ever felt heading into a season. The 28-year-old tossed 13 2/3 innings this spring, allowing three runs and striking out 16. Gray is currently tabbed as New York’s third starter but was arguably the best the club had to offer this spring. At a prime age and pitching behind a popular World Series pick, he seems poised for a career year and will surely be a popular fantasy pick in the middle rounds of any draft.
