Skylar Thompson Will Start In Week 6
2 years agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Skylar Thompson will make his first career start on Sunday versus the Minnesota Vikings, with Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) to serve as his backup. The 2022 seventh-round pick was thrust into action during the Week 5 meeting with the Jets after Bridgewater was ruled out. He had a rough showing in that one, finishing with 166 yards off 19-for-33 passing while adding an interception and a fumble. Fortunately, Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) is expected to return in Week 7 after clearing protocol. Nonetheless, Thompson has a shaky outlook for Week 6, so fantasy managers shouldn't look in his direction for relief.
