Sixto Sanchez Works Into The Fourth Inning On Thursday
4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Sixto Sanchez got the start in Thursday's Grapefruit League game against the Washington Nationals. Sanchez ended up pitching 3 1/3 innings, allowing one run on three hits and a walk while striking out three. Sixto got his pitch count up to 61, with 45 of them strikes. Sanchez will be a part of the Marlins starting rotation this season, but the Marlins will be extra careful with him and will certainly limit his innings. Fantasy managers can expect strong results from Sanchez, but he'll rarely pitch more than five innings and will have starts skipped throughout the year.
