Sixto Sanchez Wins His Major League Debut
4 years agoMiami Marlins rookie starting pitcher Sixto Sanchez pitched well and earned a win in his major league debut in Game 2 of Saturday's double header. Sanchez went five innings, allowing three runs on six hits. He did not issue a walk and struck out four. All three runs against Sanchez came on home runs off the bats of the Nationals. Sanchez looked impressive, easily touching 100 with his fastball and throwing some 92 mph change ups as well. Sanchez looks like he'll be a fixture in the Marlins rotation for a long time and should be owned in all formats.
