Sixto Sanchez Will Have An Innings Limit This Season
4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Sixto Sanchez will be on a 150-160 innings limit this season, according to Miami Herald reporter Craig Mish on his podcast. It is reportedly "not a fixed limit" but with the Marlins pushing Sixto's 2021 debut until sometime in mid-April, it could allow him to remain in the starting rotation until September. It remains to be seen if the Marlins will have him start every fifth day and shut him down once he reaches the limit, or if he will have starts skipped throughout the season to limit his action. Sixto has the upside to be an absolute fantasy ace, but fantasy managers will need to keep an eye on his usage throughout the summer.
