Sidney Crosby Nets One On Power Play Against Washington
6 years agoPittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby scored a power-play goal in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to Washington, ending a three-game point drought. Through 47 all-time matchups, Wednesday marked the ninth time that Crosby and Alex Ovechkin each found the back of the net. The Penguins captain now has seven goals and 15 points for the season in 14 games. He's started slowly this month after finishing off October with four consecutive multi-point efforts, but Crosby rarely goes through a slump. He has 28 points in 25 career games against Columbus who the Pens face next.
