Sidney Crosby Lifts Penguins To Victory
3 hours agoPittsburgh Penguins center Sidney Crosby tallied two points, including the game-winner in overtime, to lead the Penguins over the Utah Hockey Club on Wednesday evening. Crosby would tally the primary assist on Marcus Pettersson's goal in the second frame. Then, in overtime, the captain would find the back of the net on the backhand to earn the Penguins the extra point. Over his previous six contests, the 37-year-old has tallied four goals and three helpers. Overall, Crosby continued to produce over a point-per-game production as he has tallied 55 points (16 goals, 39 helpers) across 53 games. However, he holds a -17 rating, given the team's defensive struggles. He will look to extend his scoring streak on Saturday when the Penguins host the Nashville Predators.
