6 years agoSi Woo Kim shot a three-over par at the Quicken Loans National, missing the cut by two strokes. Kim opened Thursday with an even-par 70 and was smooth sailing during his Friday round, which saw him at two-under par through his first eight holes. Unfortunately for Kim, that is where the wheels completely fell off. The newly turned 23-year-old bogeyed the ninth, 12th and 15th holes of the day, and the disaster culminated with a double-bogey on the 16th hole. Kim, who was celebrating his birthday at the event, certainly didn't get the present he was hoping to receive from TPC Potomac. Kim is not entered into the Greenbrier field this week, but he will make for an intriguing contrarian GPP option the next time he tees it up.--Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
