Si Woo Kim Lets One Get Away at the RBC Heritage
7 years agoSi Woo Kim had to settle for second place at the RBC Heritage after a shaky finish on his back nine. Kim was at 15-under par when he entered the 12th hole and had a couple stroke advantage in hand over the field. After a bogey on 12 took him to 14-under par, that is when his putter started to spiral out of control. He missed a seven-foot putt for birdie on 13, a four-foot par putt on 15, a seven-foot birdie putt on 16, a 5-foot par putt on 17 and a six-foot birdie putt for the win on 18. In total, Kim lost -2.932 strokes on the day putting. He also only hit 42.86 percent of the fairways on the day (6-for-14). On a more positive note for Kim, this is his third straight quality finish, which includes his second-place finish this weekend -- his T24 at last week's Masters and a final-16 showing at the Dell Technologies Match Play. Kim is known for his high potential upside weekly, and any added consistency will only grow his weekly DFS value. He still makes for a much better GPP flier option than a cash-game play at the Valero Texas Open this week, though. Keep in mind that we will be looking at a much higher ownership percentage on Si Woo Kim than we are accustomed to as of late.
