Si Woo Kim Hopes To Rebound At CIMB Classic
6 years agoAfter last season's 77th-place finish out of 78 players at the CIMB Classic, Si Woo Kim will hope to bounce back in Malaysia this year. In Kim's only other appearance at TPC Kuala Lumpur, he posted a share of 10th place in 2016. The 57th-ranked golfer in the world has exhibited a volatile game over the past few seasons, and a birdie shootout does seem like it could play right into his wheelhouse. Since 2014, Kim has gained 1.402 strokes total on Bermuda greens and just 0.799 strokes on other surfaces. Kim's 0.603 improvement is the most significant stroke increase in the field this week. At a $7,400 price tag and less than five percent projected ownership, Kim is always worth a look, but we would like him better at a course that he could use his off the tee game as more of an advantage.
