Should Fantasy Managers Roster William Byron At Iowa?
6 months agoHendrick Motorsports driver William Byron will start fourth in this week's Iowa Corn 350 at Iowa Speedway. This is the 10th time this year that the No. 24 Chevrolet driver will start inside the Top 10 and the fourth time in the last five races. Byron has previous experience in Iowa since he had one win in his only Truck Series start at the site, while in the Xfinity Series, he has had two top-10 finishes, including a win in two starts. Through 16 races so far this season, Byron has three wins, nine top-10 finishes, and led laps in seven different events. In practice, Byron ranked eighth in 10 consecutive lap averages. Byron is expected to place in the Top 10 based on his practice speeds. However, considering his low Place Differential upside, Byron is best suited to tournament lineups or as a potential lower-rostered alternative compared to the top favorites.
