Shohei Ohtani Has Big Night in Win Over White Sox
5 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani filled up the scoresheet on Saturday night, powering the Angels to an 8-7 victory over the Chicago White Sox. Ohtani went 3-for-5, with five RBI and a stolen base. Ohtani started the scoring off in the first inning with a two-run RBI double but then brought his big stick up in his next appearance, hitting his first home run since August 18, a three-run blast in the third inning off of Chicago starter Dylan Covey. Still working his way back to the pitching mound after Tommy John surgery, Ohtani has now hit 17 home runs in 409 plate-appearances, with 60 RBI and 12 stolen bases.
