Shelby Miller Earns First Save Of Season Monday
4 months agoDetroit Tigers relief pitcher Shelby Miller picked up his first save of the season in Monday's 1-0 win over the Guardians. Miller came in to pitch the top of the ninth inning and delivered a 1-2-3 outing with a strikeout. The Tigers' bullpen has been a mess lately, with three different relievers seeing a save opportunity in the last seven days. Jason Foley has seen the most this season but has struggled lately. The veteran Miller has struggled this season with a 5.76 ERA in 29 2/3 innings of work. Andrew Chafin has been the most effective arm out of the bullpen recently, so while fantasy managers may want to avoid the Tigers' bullpen, Chafin may be the most interesting for now.
