2 years agoOakland Athletics catcher Shea Langeliers is absent from Tuesday's starting lineup against the Cleveland Guardians, according to MLB.com. He started the first four games of the season and has posted a .200 average with no extra-base hits thus far. Instead, it will be Carlos Perez behind the dish and batting eighth. The 32-year-old hasn't been known for hitting throughout parts of five seasons in the bigs, as he owns a .216/.258/.320 slash line with four stolen bases. It's safe to say that fantasy managers should ignore Perez in all leagues, even for a streaming option.--Spencer Seguin
