8 months agoOakland Athletics catcher Shea Langeliers put his team's offense on his shoulders in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Rangers. Langeliers went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs, a two-run HR, and a strikeout. The strong performance raised the 26-year-old's season slash line to .250/.306/.625 with four HR and seven RBI over 36 plate appearances. Fantasy managers may want to see more consistency from Langeliers before trusting him in shallower leagues, but the former top prospect could be kickstarting a useful offensive season.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
