11 seconds agoCarolina Hurricanes defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere has matched a franchise record with a four-game goal streak among defensemen. Dougie Hamilton was previously the lone blue-liner in Hurricanes/Whalers history to score in four consecutive games. Gostisbehere is also the first-ever defenseman to score as many as four goals for the team through the first five games of a season. He's added one assist to his tally during the very prolific start to the campaign.
