Sharks Hope To Get Five Players Back By The End Of The Week
3 years agoSan Jose Sharks winger Timo Meier was among five players to resume skating on Monday after being in the NHL's COVID-19 protocol. He was joined by Kevin Labanc, Matt Nieto, Marc-Edouard Vlasic and Radim Simek on the ice at San Jose's practice facility after the players who will play in Tuesday's clash against the Flames had already skated and headed out to Canada. San Jose starts a five-game road trip and hopes to have the players available for Saturday's matchup against Colorado. Meier continues to lead the team's scoring charts with 11 points despite missing three games. Erik Karlsson and Jake Middleton have also been unavailable for the Sharks and it seems like their return will take a bit longer as they weren't on the ice on Monday.
