Shane Lowry Falls Short At Cognizant Classic
9 months agoShane Lowry finished tied for fourth after firing a disappointing 71 in the final round of last week's Cognizant Classic after being tied for the lead following Round 3. Lowry heads to Bay Hill to tee it up in this week's Arnold Palmer Invitational, where he finished 67th in 2023 and missed the cut in 2021. Lowry will have a chance to redeem himself this week if he can continue his strong approach play. Over the last 12 months, he ranks in the 67th percentile in proximity to the hole on approach shots from 150-200 yards in the fairway, and at last year's tournament, over 34% of approach shots were taken from 150-200 yards. Lowry has been playing well, but his past performances at Bay Hill suggest that including him in DFS lineups comes with some risk.
