2 years agoCleveland Guardians pitcher Shane Bieber will start the second game of the team's American League Division Series matchup against the New York Yankees. The veteran threw 200 innings in the regular season logging a 2.88 ERA and a 2.87 FIP while striking out 198 batters and allowing just 36 walks. He logged 7.2 innings in his start in the first game of the Guardians' Wild Card series against the Tampa Bay Rays, scattering three hits, a walk, and a home run while striking out eight batters.
