1 year agoCleveland Guardians right-hander Shane Bieber will make his 11th start of the season on Friday when he takes on Matthew Liberatore and the St. Louis Cardinals. The former Cy Young winner is running a 3.08 ERA and 1.21 WHIP, but his 17.8% strikeout rate is by far the worst of his career. The Cardinals own one of the best lineups in baseball with a combined .773 OPS, so in shallow leagues, it might be worth it to bench Bieber. However, in deeper leagues, the 27-year-old should be started just about every time he's out on the mound, and hopefully, he can find some more punchouts.--Spencer Seguin
