Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Good To Go On Sunday Night
2 months agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (wrist) will play on Sunday night versus the Brooklyn Nets. SGA didn't suit up for Friday's loss to the Dallas Mavericks because of a sprained wrist, his first absence of the 2024-25 campaign. He had been questionable heading into this contest, so most had assumed he would get another night off against the 14-win Nets. However, Gilgeous-Alexander will be out there. As expected, OKC is the heavy favorite on Sunday night. While Gilgeous-Alexander is expected to remain a potent fantasy producer, he could see fewer minutes than usual if this one gets out of hand.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Questionable Against The Nets
2 months agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (wrist) is questionable for Sunday's game versus the visiting Nets. The 26-year-old was a late addition to the injury report heading into Friday's loss to the Dallas Mavericks. However, he was ultimately downgraded, missing his first game of the 2024-25 campaign. Aaron Wiggins entered the starting lineup and finished with 12 points, six boards, and one steal. But as expected, Luguentz Dort and Jalen Williams led the way, with the duo combining for 37 points. That will likely remain the same on Sunday if Gilgeous-Alexander can't get on the floor.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Now Uncertain For Friday Night
2 months agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (wrist) is uncertain to play on Friday versus Dallas. He hasn't been listed on the league's official injury report, at least not yet. However, after dropping 40 points on the Cavs on Thursday, SGA is now dealing with a sore wrist. For now, fantasy managers should consider him a game-time call. But if Gilgeous-Alexander isn't out there, Luguentz Dort and Jalen Williams should both see a bump in scoring chances. Alex Caruso and Isaiah Joe may also enter the starting lineup, giving one of them upside for fantasy managers.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Posts 27 Points In Losing Effort
7 months agoOklahoma City Thunder's star point guard, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, scored 27 points for Canada in their Olympic 82-73 quarterfinal loss to France on Tuesday. Gilgeous-Alexander was crucial in reducing France's lead from 19 points to 71-66 in the third quarter. However, France maintained their lead and closed out the game. In addition to his impressive scoring, the 26-year-old contributed five rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block. Even though Canada suffered a tough loss, fantasy managers should strongly consider selecting Gilgeous-Alexander with their first pick in the upcoming NBA fantasy drafts, as he will bounce back.
