5 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard Shabazz Napier had a very good outing on Monday against Brooklyn, finishing a 122-115 overtime win with a season-high 24 points on 8-for-18 shooting. He was 3-for-6 from deep and added eight assists with three rebounds and two steals. The Wolves are currently down to bare bones, which gave Napier a chance to start for the fifth time this season. His shot has been off all year, but he has done a decent job as a starter, averaging 11.4 points, 5.8 assists and 1.8 steals per game in 25.6 minutes. Napier will have a difficult matchup next on Wednesday against the Bucks, who have limited point guards to below 40 percent shooting this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
