Seth Lugo Picks Up Third Hold On Saturday
3 years agoNew York Mets relief pitcher Seth Lugo picked up his third hold of the season on Saturday in the Mets 4-1 victory over the San Diego Padres. Lugo pitched a scoreless eighth inning allowing one walk while striking out three batters. Since Lugo returned from the 60-day injured list on June 2, he has allowed just one run in 5 2/3 innings pitched and has struck out nine of the 21 batters he has faced. Lugo remains an elite option for fantasy managers in leagues that reward holds. He should be in line to put up elite ratios and strikeouts, to go with a large number of holds going forward.
