6 years agoThe New York Mets bullpen has not been effective thus far in 2019, with the exception of closer Edwin Diaz. Seth Lugo, one of the better pitchers the bullpen featured last year, is at the forefront of these early woes. The 28-year-old was tagged for two runs on two hits Thursday afternoon, only managing to record one out before getting pulled from the game. Prior to Thursday's performance, he was already struggling, having allowed seven runs over his last two appearances. Lugo's ERA now stands at 12.27 and the Mets might have a problem on their hands if these struggles don't cease soon.--RDelgado
