Seth Johnson Remains Steady At Double-A
4 months agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitching prospect Seth Johnson has remained steady through the first half of the season at Double-A Bowie and could see a promotion to Triple-A Norfolk at the end of the season. Through 57 innings, the Campbell University product holds a 2.84 ERA, 1.42 WHIP, and a 34:57 BB:K ratio. This is a great sign, as the 25-year-old missed a majority of last season due to Tommy John surgery. In 2022, Johnson posted a modest 3.00 ERA, and 1.26 WHIP at High-A. The right-hander is considered the ninth-best prospect in the Baltimore system on MLB.com and is on track to meet his 2025 major league ETA.
