Seth Curry Molds Hot Start Into 28-Point Performance
3 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers shooting guard Seth Curry recorded 23 first-quarter points and ended up registering a team-high 28 points in Sunday's 115-103 win over OKC. There seemed to have been another Curry on the court during the opening 12 minutes, as the veteran sniper made six of his seven attempts from downtown. He finished with a 7-for-10 record from deep and shot 9-for-15 overall from the field with a 3-for-4 effort at the line. Curry also managed to pick up three rebounds with three assists and one steal in 34 minutes. The 31-year-old has now notched 20 points and back-to-back games, and he's shooting a mind-boggling 76.5 percent from deep for the year. Could Curry maybe produce a big night at Madison Square Garden? He faces the Knicks on Tuesday and it's a matchup against a team that is allowing a league-high 47.7 three-point attempts per game.
