7 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Sergio Romo will make the first start of his major league career on Saturday. The Rays are facing off with the Los Angeles Angels, who have a right-handed-heavy top of the lineup. Romo will look to get through the first three to five hitters before handing it over to rookie left-hander Ryan Yarbrough. Unfortunately, Romo has absolutely no value to fantasy owners in this role. He will not pitch deep enough to earn a win or a quality start, and he cannot even earn a hold in this outing. This move from the Rays will be interesting to watch but not from a fantasy point of view.--Ben Rolfe
