6 years agoTampa Bay Rays relief pitcher Sergio Romo will get his fifth start of the season Friday against the Mariners. Romo was successful in his first two starts, striking out six and giving up zero earned runs. In the next two starts, he gave up four earned runs combined and managed to pitch just an inning in total. He also got a save Tuesday, but right now his role will be split between relieving and starting. This split role makes it tough for fantasy owners to use Romo. When he starts, he cannot provide either a win or a save, and he will often be facing the best part of a team's lineup.--Ben Rolfe
