Sergei Bobrovsky Extends His Winning Streak To Three Games
5 years agoFlorida Panthers goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky picked up his third straight victory on Thursday even with a lowly .875 save percentage. The Russian netminder had a poor start to the game as Anaheim jumped to a 4-0 lead, but the Panthers ended up winning 5-4 in overtime. Bob ended the night with 28 saves. He now has a 9-4-4- record for the year. It's been a very bumpy ride for him, as he's carrying a 3.47 goals-against average and a .886 save percentage. Luckily for him, Bobrovsky gets to play behind a high-scoring team that's averaging a league-best 3.68 goals per night, so there's a chance to produce W's even if he's not on top of his game.
