Serge Ibaka Gets Close To Double-Double In Blowout Loss
4 years agoLos Angeles Clippers forward/center Serge Ibaka was the team's only productive starter in Sunday's shocking 124-73 loss to Dallas, shooting 6-for-11 from the field and getting close to a double-double with 13 points and nine rebounds. He also posted one block in 20 minutes of action. The rest of the starters combined for only 28 points, with Paul George leading the pack with 15. The Clippers ended up trailing 77-27 at halftime, with the 50-point deficit being the largest in NBA history at the break in the shot-clock era. Ibaka hasn't played much for his new club, averaging below 21 minutes per game, but he's been an efficient scorer whilst on the court. He gets a very good matchup next against Minnesota whose star center Karl-Anthony Towns tends to struggle on the defensive end.
