Seranthony Dominguez Records Second Straight Save
6 years agoAfter a two-inning performance that resulted in his fifth save of the season Wednesday night against the New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies reliever Seranthony Dominguez was back on the mound Thursday night. Taking on the Washington Nationals, the Phillies failed to keep a three-run lead intact, forcing Gabe Kapler’s hand. With just two outs, both strikeouts, Dominguez secured his sixth save of the season. The 23-year-old now has 36 strikeouts on the year and is now two appearances removed from his debacle against the Nationals in Washington.
